Researcher Emmanuel Bigand speaks to 300 teachers

On November 22, world-famous researcher Emmanuel Bigand gave a talk on music and cognition in Gonesse, at the invitation of the Val d’Oise Office of Education Services. A professor of cognitive psychology and researcher at France’s National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Dr. Bigand spoke to over 300 classroom and violin teachers in our A violin can change the world program.

His inspiring presentation highlighted advances in scientists’ understanding of the connection between the study of music and cognitive development in children.
