France 2’s morning program showcases A violin can change the world
On September 28, 2021, Télématin journalist Carole Tolila visited Albert Camus Elementary School in Sarcelles to meet with teachers and students in our A violin can change the world program.
Her heartfelt, highly enthusiastic report tells the story behind the Vareille Foundation’s effort, launched in 2015, to help disadvantaged children succeed in school by teaching them to play the violin. Also featured in the segment are violin teacher Delphine Ferchat and Val d’Oise Director of Education Guylène Mouquet-Burtin. Albert Camus Elementary School joined the program in 2018.
Please take a few moments to watch the Télématin video below (in French). France 2 aired the segment on Friday, October 1, 2021, in celebration of International Music Day.
