2020, the show must go on – virtually

After weeks of distance learning, the Swiss and French children in our project were happy to rejoin their teachers and violin instructors before the summer break. To everyone’s disappointment, it was impossible to hold traditional year-end concerts safely, but thanks to technology and the creativity of the teachers, the students were able to record small “virtual concerts” that showed their parents how much they enjoyed playing their violins again.

Our warmest wishes go out to the seven-year-olds in grade CE1 in Persan and grade 4H in Martigny, who have now completed their last year in our A violin can change the world project. They’ll receive their violin diplomas when they go back to school.

Watch the videos below to enjoy performances by 4H students in Martigny and preschool students in Persan.

Have a great summer!
