Moving year-end concert in Persan

On Saturday, June 23, children at the Paul Eluard elementary school in Persan presented a world premier to an audience of parents and partners in our A violin can change the world project.

On the program: Ants in My Violin, an original fairy tale by Persan music teacher Delphine Ferchat, recounting the adventures of the Chevaletdelatouche family. Under the direction of Marie-Christine Laviron, the children performed with concentration, close attention to their teachers and great creativity, accompanying the story now with music, now with sound effects, now with rhythm—much to the delight of their audience.

Violinist Amandine Beyer, sponsor of the Persan program, also performed in the concert, taking the role of the fairy Silafami in the fairy tale and joining the violin teachers to play excerpts from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the recurring theme in the program throughout the year.
