At 18.00 on Friday, June 9, our young violinists from the Martigny schools took the stage to perform a year-end concert for their parents and siblings. It was an opportunity for the audience to see how much progress they had made during the year—and it gave the children the chance to play in a real performance.
Martigny elementary school superintendent Patrice Moret thanked all of the teachers, the violin instructors from the Valais Conservatory and the children’s families for their support throughout the year.
After the concert, we presented a short video filmed in April when we hosted a delegation of teachers and administrators from Persan, France. For parents who had never been able to attend violin classes, the video offered a first-hand look at how our teaching method works.
It was a great pleasure to share this delightful musical experience with the Martigny community. We are very happy with the program’s progress and offer our congratulations to all of the children!
