Violin project presented to families in Cergy, Sarcelles and Garges

On June 18, 19 and 20, Hélène and Pierre Vareille met with families from schools in Cergy, Sarcelles and Garges-lès-Gonesse, in the French département of Val d’Oise, near Paris. All three schools will begin participating in our A violin can change the world program in September 2018.

As officials from the schools, local communities and the French Ministry of Education looked on, the Vareilles presented the project to a large audience of parents and children. Attendees asked a wide range of questions, reflecting the parents’ interest in—and high expectations from—the program.

All three meetings closed with a selection of musical works played by the violin teachers, delighting the audience and making everyone eager to embark on this grand adventure together as soon school resumes in September.

Mission accomplished!
