On June 7, nearly 150 violinists from grades 1H-4H (ages five to height) gathered in the gym to perform a magnificent year-end concert for their families. Highly focused and perfectly together, the young musicians played a series of increasingly difficult pieces, accompanied on violin, keyboard, percussion and mandolin by their teachers Vérène, Gabrielle, Elise and Nestor. The seven-year-olds impressed the audience with an unforgettable rendition of Parla più piano, the famous theme from The Godfather.
At the end of the concert, the children in 4H, who are graduating from the program this year, were presented with their “violin diplomas” in a deeply moving ceremony.
