Our impact measurement system, developed by Swissocial, is now in place. We are also consulting with the education experts at Haute École Pédagogique du Valais (HEP) so that they can use the impact data from our tests in a long-term study on the effects of learning music.
Both the Zurich Hardau and the Martigny groups have now completed the first set of assessments. Thus, each child has participated in a series of tests/games administered by student interns, supplemented by a questionnaire completed by their parents and teachers.
This data will allow us to evaluate each child’s development and progress year by year. We will also compare it with data from a control group of children who are not part of the project to determine whether our students do significantly better in school.
