Hardau kindergarten: A great place to launch our Zurich project

On April 8 we visited Hardau kindergarten, a candidate for launch of our project “A violin can change the world.” The school has about 100 students, many of them immigrants, and has divided them into five classes with two age groups in each.

According to Hardau’s principals, only 17% of the children at Hardau are native speakers of German or Swiss German, which naturally complicates the teaching process. Very few of them have access to music.

The teachers are very enthusiastic—a big plus!
